Cheryl Denise is a poet living in the intentional community of Shepherds Field in West Virginia. DreamSeeker released Cheryl’s third book of poetry, Fences, from which “Panic Attack” is taken, in December 2022. She is the author of two other poetry volumes, What’s in the Blood (2012) and I Saw God Dancing (2005), also published by DreamSeeker, an imprint of Cascadia Publishing, and has a spoken-word poetry CD, Leaving Eden.
