César García has been general secretary of Mennonite World Conference since 2012. He is a graduate of Colombia Biblical Seminary and Fresno (Calif.) Pacific Biblical Seminary. Sandra Báez is executive assistant to the general secretary and a pastor at First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, Ontario. García and Báez are natives of Colombia and the parents of two grown daughters. This lecture was part of Bethel College’s endowed Bible Lectures, given March 17-18, 2024.
