Rachel Pannabecker, North Newton, is director emerita of Kauffman Museum. She served in the position 1996-2014, and is now a special projects volunteer at the museum.
Reinhild Janzen lives in rural Newton. She is professor emerita of art history at Washburn University, Topeka, Kan., and served as curator of cultural history for Kauffman Museum for a decade, 1983-93.
