Richard Toews
Richard Toews received his interdisciplinary Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University in 2002. His field of study was anthropology, history and literary criticism. After completing his studies, he taught at SFU’s First Nations Institute, retiring in 2010. In his retirement years, he has published two novels, The Quiet in the Land and The Confession. In addition, he has written several screenplays, two of which have been produced: The Lady in White and Into the Black Woods. Apart from this, he has also written, directed and produced the film The Prodigal.
