Rodney D. Ratzlaff
Rod Ratzlaff is an amateur Low German Mennonite historian and genealogist. He lives in Olathe, Kan., with his wife and manages a law firm in Lawrence, Kan. Fascinated with genealogy from an early age, Rod focuses on his own genealogy, as well as the history and genealogy of the Gröningen Old Flemish Mennonite group that populated villages in Polish Prussia, Volhynia and the Molotschna Mennonite colony. Rod has a keen interest in networking with like-minded folks in many different countries and can often be found studying maps, searching archives, or trudging through cemeteries. When not working on genealogy, he spends his time with his family, or pursues interests such as woodworking, motorcycling or traveling.
