Willmar Harder
Willmar Harder is a graduate of Bethel College and Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary. He was the pastor of Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church in rural Inman, Kan., for 10 years before taking a program coordinator position, along with his wife, Hannah Neufeld, with Mennonite Central Committee in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in 2010. The couple were coordinators of MCC’s Low German Mennonite Program until 2014, when Harder became pastor of Buhler (Kan.) Mennonite Church, his current position. Harder grew up in Mountain Lake, Minn., speaking Low German and with strong ties to family in Paraguay.
